Resolutions should be made in January, not now. But in January, I was swamped and crazy overworked and I had no idea if I could do what I wanted–heck, I didn’t even know if I could last the week withou imploding! So now that things have settled a little, I can give you an accurate roadmap of what to expect this upcoming year:
I plan to reach the final draft stage of:
- Fall from Grace (full novel, Fall from Grace #1)
- Faerie Oaths (short story, Faerie Sworn #1.5)
- The Wild Horn (full novel, Faerie Sworn #2)
- Bonus epilogue content to Fall from Grace (two short stories, #1.2 and #1.5)
Roughly, this means writing and polishing about 150.00 words. 500 words a day, with a little over two months off the hook to call in sick for writerly work. Doable, right? Right. We’ll see.
I also plan to plot and outline:
- Tears for Redemption (full novel, Fall from Grace #2)
- Faerie Hearts (short story, Faerie Sworn #2.5)
And I plan to publish:
- Fall from Grace (serialization starts in March; full novel will be available in print and ebook once it’s over)
- The Wild Hunt (expected in Spring)
- Faerie Oaths (expected in Spring-Summer; will be available to e-mail subscribers only)
- Faerie Nights (a re-launch in time for Christmas; this is Faerie Sworn #0.5 and is currently part of the charity anthology Christmas Lites III, which you can read about here)
What do you think? Intrigued about the new projects? Am I an overachiever?
